A lot has happened since the project was launched December 2016...
Waters of Bath has teamed up with local event organiser Megan Witty, who was responsible for organising the popular 'King Bladud's Pigs' charity auction and 'Lions of Bath' sculpture trail
We have presented to Bath Bridge, an ‘independent city-wide advisory group concerned with positioning Bath as a place with a dynamic, beautifully inventive future’, which is extremely supportive of the proposal
We have had positive meetings with the Regeneration Team Manager and the Head of Economic Development at B&NES Council
We have met with Visit Bath, who are “100 % behind the idea”
Bath Magazine published an article about Waters of Bath in their March issue
B&NES held a ‘Waters of Bath’ themed World Heritage Day event in Parade Gardens, where our stall attracted lots of interest
We have had encouraging words of support from the National Trust and Thermae Bath Spa
Nationally-acclaimed water feature designers Ocmis approached us to offer technical support to the project
We presented to Bath Preservation Trust who are “supportive of the idea and would be pleased to consult and advise on the exciting and creative concept as it is developed and refined”
We are in discussion with several developers in the city, who are considering adding water features to their new schemes
We have a meetings planned with Wessex Water, Bath BID, Southgate and a number of other businesses and organisations around the city
And, most importantly, we have had a hugely positive response from the people of Bath.
Now that we have established that there is widespread support for the idea, we are looking for companies or individuals who would be willing to sponsor individual water features and have placed an advert in Bath Life accordingly. If you are interested, please get in touch directly by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
